Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire
Embark on an exciting adventure following a brief morning briefing, as you set off for Tarangire National Park. In approximately two and a half hours, you will arrive at the park, where you will be greeted by the majestic presence of giant baobab trees that dominate its breathtaking landscapes. Tarangire is renowned as one of Northern Tanzania’s most stunning parks, deriving its name from the Tarangire River, which ensures a year-round water source and supports a diverse array of wildlife. Witness herds of up to 40-50 elephants, alongside other captivating species like wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. Your accommodation options include Eileens Tree Inn, Marera Valley, or Olea Pamoja Africana, ensuring a comfortable and unforgettable stay.
Day 2 Karatu – Ngorongoro
Indulge in a delightful breakfast at the lodge before setting off on an exciting journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The focal point of this conservation marvel is the Ngorongoro Crater, a magnificent geological wonder formed over 2 – 3 million years ago by a volcanic explosion and collapse. As you descend into the crater, you’ll be awestruck by its 610-meter (2,000 feet) deep walls and sprawling 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) of floor teeming with a rich variety of East African savannah wildlife. Prepare to witness the Big Five – Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos, and Rhinos – as well as herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Antelopes, and Gazelles. The crater is also known for its almost extinct black rhinos, offering a rare opportunity to glimpse these majestic creatures. After immersing yourself in the mesmerizing wildlife encounters for hours, we’ll make our way back to Arusha, where you can choose to spend the night or catch your flight to Zanzibar or your home destination. This marks the end of an unforgettable safari experience with us.
